We learned this week that Kidde/United Technologies, has recalled:

Kidde Dual Sensor (Photoelectric and Ionization) Smoke Alarms – Models PI2010 and PI9010

This is a good time to check your batteries in your smoke alarm. Newer smoke alarms have a life of 10 years and need to be replaced. You can find the date on the back of your alarm as seen in the picture below. Replace it when it is ten years from that date.
